Hey my Lovelies,
Welcome to the fourth episode and series of, What You Cooking Good Looking – Cooking with CRPS
This series will be where I document my own original recipes once or twice a month, using alternative ingredients to replace foods that I’m intolerant to or that is a fun and creative way to experiment with a classic dish. My relationship with food hasn’t been the best, especially speaking over the past few years and so I’m trying to motivate myself to get back into experimenting with food like I’ve always loved doing whilst trying out my own recipes for meals I haven’t eaten in a long time.
This week I decided to make my own style Vegan Pizza.
It was so fun!! I’ll definitely make this more on the future 😋🍕
Total Time: 25 mins
- Napolina Pizza Bases
- Vegan Chicken Strips (@icelandfoods range)
- Vegan Chorizo Pieces (icelandfoods range)
- Violife vegan cheese grated – mozzarella flavour
- Chopped Onion
- Spicy Mayo
- Live Free Pure – Vegan Butter
- Garlic Powder
Step 1: Lightly Fry Vegan Style Meat
Lightly fry vegan style meat, chopped white onions and seasonings for around 10 minutes.
*I ran out of sunflower oil so SUBSTITUTED it with Live Free Pure – Vegan Butter
Step 2: Put toppings onto Pizza Base
Place toppings onto pizza base, starting with sauce of your own choice, then add grated vegan cheese and all other previously fried vegan pieces.
Add more grated cheese on top of covered pizza
*You can add regular tomato sauce/puree to your Vegan Pizza as it’s an original step of making pizza but I purposefully left it out and used spicy mayo as a base sauce instead because I can’t eat tomato
Step 3: Place in Oven to Cook
Place pizza in the oven to cook on 200 degrees, fan setting for 8-10 minuets
Step 4: Tuck In 😋
