Cooking with CRPS - Laura Spoonie

Hey my Lovelies,

Welcome to the third episode and series of, What You Cooking Good Looking – Cooking with CRPS

This series will be where I document my own original recipes once or twice a month, using alternative ingredients to replace foods that I’m intolerant to or that is a fun and creative way to experiment with a classic dish. My relationship with food hasn’t been the best, especially speaking over the past few years and so I’m trying to motivate myself to get back into experimenting with food like I’ve always loved doing whilst trying out my own recipes for meals I haven’t eaten in a long time.

Vegan Krabby Patty Double Burger

This week I decided to make my own style Krabby Patty. All Spongebob viewers say *YAY*

It was so fun!! It definitely turned out much better than my previous Cooking With CRPS Episode – Gluten-Free Pancakes with Summer Fruits

Total Time: 35 mins

Ingredients:

  • Brioche Burger Buns
  • Florette Crispy Salad
  • Linda McCartney Vegetarian Mozzarella Burger
  • Vegan No Bull Burger (Iceland range)
  • Branston Original Pickles
  • Violife vegan cheese block – mozzarella flavour
  • Rosemary
  • Spring Onion
  • Red Onion
  • Spicy Mayo

Step 1: Cook Burger Patty

Cook ONE Linda McCartney burger and ONE No Bull Burger in the over on 190 degrees fan setting for 18 minutes

Place on some foil or oven container so the juices don’t drip in oven!

*You can some of the Violife Vegan Cheese to this recipe if you want but the Linda McCartney burger has cheese in there

*You can also add tomato to your Krabby patty as it’s in the original recipe but I purposefully left it out because I can’t eat tomato

Whilst burgers are cooking move to next step

Step 2: Cut up herbs and lightly fry

Chop half a red onion, spring onion and a tiny bit of rosemary and lightly fry in a pan with some sunflower oil

By the time you’re done with cutting and frying the herbs, the burgers should be about 6-20 minutes left for the urgers to cook.

At this point take a break, have some juice to quench your thirst Lol!

Step 3: Lightly toast Burger Bun

Once the burgers have done, place burger bun in the oven to toast for roughly 50 seconds. By this point, the oven can be turned off because you don’t need a lot of heat to toast the brioche bread 👌

Step 4: Stack Krabby Patty

START stacking!

Now all ingredients have been cooked it’s time to put all the pieces together.
