Hey my Lovelies,
The other day I was able to make it out to a Dr’s appointment and spent the rest of the day sitting in the park, sketching the scenery and taking in the last bit of our British summer heat. I took a picture of this yellow rose just before leaving the park and wrote a quick poem to go with it.
Hope you like it! 💛

It’s not my favourite flower
but it’s just as beautiful & neat
Yellow Rose blooming at the end of Summer’s heat
Look at her, confident & bold yet still so sweet
It’s joyful in the way that it folds
Each petal joined together like friendship we all wish to hold
Sunshine-hues at the start of Fall
Priceless connections, hold onto them all
Its presence is appreciated the ever more it grows
It was nice to meet you, Hopefully Rose

A lovely poem Laura, I occasionally dabble in poetry but I have only shared one on my blog so far!

Thank you! The first poem I posted was about living with Fibromyalgia. This one was spur of the moment but I think it’s a good way to express yourself and get your creative thoughts going 🙂🌻
